"Reign Over Me" movie review

Contrary to what we are used to see, actor Adam Sandler takes on a dramatic role has a Manhattan dentist named Charlie Fineman, who tragically looses his wife and two daughters on the September 9/11 plane crash into the World Trade Center.
As a repercussion of those events, he had a sort of regression to adolescense, controled by videogames and record collecting, and emotional isolation.

Riding his motor scooter around the city,Charlie happens to bump against Alan Johnson(Don Cheadle),an old college roommate and dentist practicioner, who starts his quest on helping Charlie to get back down to earth and finding peace with himself. That proves to be a challenge for Alan,as Charlie is in continuous denial and refuses to rember the past, and accept the facts.

Although this's a movie with some funny scenes and lines "a lá Adam Sandler",I found myself more often then not, deeply touched by this profound movie.
If you're into a more serious movie and are curious how well Adam Sandler takes on his role, then don't wait longer and watch Reign Over Me.In my opinion,it's worth it!
