Star Wars,remembering the oldies!

It's been a few decades since George Lucas brought to screen one of the most acclaimed sagas in history of the cinema.Through out the world it gathered a swarm of fans, including myself.

A few days ago I've decided to start what I call a "Star Wars Marathon".Unfortunately,I wasn't able to watch all episodes in one day as I wanted. But still,I managed to see them all(chronologically) in 3 days.
I can tell now I really missed remembering those oldies!I loved to watch all the episodes again and feel part of the world of Star Wars.I guess I even liked to see Darth Vader again!
The characters are all brilliant. From the friendly and hairy-big- guy Chewbacca to the wise little Yoda, every character had an unique personality.
Star Wars was also the blockbuster which brought Harrison Ford into stardom, as Han Solo. This was back in 1977 when the first Star Wars movie came out, entitled "Star Wars:A New Hope".

The last movie on the saga was launched on screen on 2005, and it told the story of how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, despite Obi-Wan's efforts in trying to help him.

Regardless of how old the first three episodes of the saga are, they stand as my favourites. Why?I simply can't tell...

If you're up for some nostalgic moments as Star Wars are part of your childhood, then rewatching it will certainly bring back happy memories...

"May the Force be with you"...

Pay Per Post,a Way to Make Money Blogging

Who doesn't like to share with other people about their interests or write about those same things? With Pay Per Post you can contribute your own ideas and opinions about a product, service or blog,in form of articles.Best yet,you can get paid to do so!
It would be something like getting paid for writing about things that you like.
And this is what Pay Per Post is all about.
Pay Per Post is a blog marketing plataform that pays bloggers to write quality content about the opportunities that come up at it's website.

The first step needed for you to be a member of the huge Pay Per Post community,is to register in their site. After that, you must submit your blog and wait for it to be approved.
To be able to earn money writing reviews you must fulfill some requirements.
Only blogs with a minimum post count of 10 posts in the last 30 days and at least 30 days old will be accepted. Also, only blogs written in English language will be approved.
Those are the main requirements, but the FAQ available at Pay Per Post can give you a much more concrete idea if your blog does or does not qualify.

Once past the registration process and approval, the Pay Per Post procedure is quite simple.
You browse through the opportunities list, choose the ones that interest you, create a review
and submit them for appreciation. If the staff responsible for the appreciation like them, you'll get paid.
A note I'd like to add is that, most of the times, you won't be able to review all the available opportunities.
On a closer look at the opportunities, you can observe that some have different colors. That's because in some of them(the red ones) you don't meet the requirements!
Take also into account the reading of the requirements you don't met, like minimum Google Page Rank or excluded domains, which are important clues on what you need to improve/change to be able to write a review for that opportunity.

Besides earning money from posts,Pay Per Post also has an interesting referral system.By having your friends signing up under your referral link you can earn even more income.

With all this said,Pay Per Post can be an interesting way of bringing some nice revenue and to share your own writing skills and interests with the world.

Worldwide Idol worst auditions 2

Again, "fantastic" performances...The first performance and the "Final Countdown" are just the funniest performances I've ever seen!I couldn't stop laughing!Idols at it's "best"!

Worst American Idol auditions ever!

And when I thought I've heard and seen everything and anything, this people come and score...
This are the worst, most awful American Idol auditions I've ever seen in any singing show!
I'll just leave a warning to the most sensitive people...Watch at your own risk!

Britains Got Talent, talented guy singing own song

Composed and sung his own song, this guy "is good"...actually, he's really good!Another talent from Britains Got Talent!

X Factor amazing singer

Much to the resemblence of American Idol,X Factor is a show about singing.
This video is all about an extraordinary singing performance of Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" by Leona Lewis...and what a performance!
It is,undoubtdly, the best singing of this song I've ever heard!

Opera singing by a kid at Britains Got Talent

Britains Got Talent looks like really is full of talents! And it never ceases to amaze me!

This time, a 14 year old boy named Andrew Johnston sings opera like nobody I've seen at his age.A beautiful song, sung by a great voice!

14 year old singing Yodeling on BGT

I have always thought that Yodeling was one of the most difficult singing out there and yet, this 14 year old comes and sings it like a pro!
She is,surely a talent!

Puppet Michael Jackson on Britains Got Talent

Again, another video from YouTube on Britains Got Talent! And a really amusing one,I might add.
A very talented guy and his puppet on a great performance on Britains Got Talent of Michael Jackson's song "What about us".
Is really worth watching!

Amazing singing by child of 6 at Britains Got Talent!

It's amazing to hear such a beautiful singing at such a young age.
This cute little girl of age 6 named Connie Talbot, has a beautiful voice and sings amazingly well!Especially for the song it is("Over the Rainbow"),which is definately not an easy song to be sung, even for an older person.
This is definately worth to be watched.Britains Got Talent at it's best!

Britains Got Talent,a new born entertainer!

At first, you could say Britains Got Talent is something like American Idol, but on a closer look, you'll find that it has little resemblences with that show.
Britains Got Talent doesn't focus only on singing, but is quite more general.Break dance performaces, contorcionism, comediant acts are some of the things you may watch on Britains Got Talent.

While browsing through YouTube I found one of the most entertaining acts I've watched in a while.
Ever heard of a pop British group of the 90's whose vocalist was Ronan Keating?Well, this's what this video's about...more or less...
This guy is definately a talent as an entertainer!Just watch for yourself...

My Dream Trips

Who doesn't dream about travelling around the world and visit some beautiful and exotic places?
What about meeting other people with different habits and from a different culture and strike up a conversation?
I think a lot about this and how I wish I had the means to travel anywhere I'd like...and not having this annoying panic of heights and flying.

Here's a brief resume of the places I'd love to go to and why:

EGYPT:
Egypt is on the top of my "to-visit" list.
I have
always been very interested in Acient Egypt mythology and Egyptian culture, which is something that fascinates me and mesmerizes me.
Since I've known myself,I've always wanted to visit Egypt's Great Pyramids,The Sphinx,The Temples,The Nile...The Egypt Pyramids especially ,if I ever go to Egypt,I'll surely won't leave without ever visiting them.

With more than 4500,they are one of the biggest constructions ever done, surpassed only by the Eiffel Tower. They are also the oldest of the 7 Wonders.

SEYCHELLES:

Seychelles is another one on my top list.
Since I've seen photos of the amazing landscapes of Seychelles islands I immediately got interested to know more about them.
I've read that Seychelles are one of the places with the most biodiversity on the planet. They have an enormous variety of reefs, sea fauna and flora.Colorfoul fishes,eye-popping flowers and giant turtles are one of the most distinguishable features of this archipelago.
No more reasons are needed to visit such a place with a magnificient scenery.

JAPAN:

Japan, again on the top of my list!
As a fan of Japanese culture ,Ancient Japan and anything related to it,it would be a crime if I didn't include Japan on my top list.
From the architecture(Golden Pavillion on the image) to the language, the traditional costumes to the politeness of the Japanese people, everything marvels me.
I sure hope to visit Japan,someday...

"Reign Over Me" movie review

Contrary to what we are used to see, actor Adam Sandler takes on a dramatic role has a Manhattan dentist named Charlie Fineman, who tragically looses his wife and two daughters on the September 9/11 plane crash into the World Trade Center.
As a repercussion of those events, he had a sort of regression to adolescense, controled by videogames and record collecting, and emotional isolation.

Riding his motor scooter around the city,Charlie happens to bump against Alan Johnson(Don Cheadle),an old college roommate and dentist practicioner, who starts his quest on helping Charlie to get back down to earth and finding peace with himself. That proves to be a challenge for Alan,as Charlie is in continuous denial and refuses to rember the past, and accept the facts.

Although this's a movie with some funny scenes and lines "a lá Adam Sandler",I found myself more often then not, deeply touched by this profound movie.
If you're into a more serious movie and are curious how well Adam Sandler takes on his role, then don't wait longer and watch Reign Over Me.In my opinion,it's worth it!

Dugeon Keeper review

Another gamer published by now extinct Bullfrog,Dungeon Keeper is one of the most original and funniest games I've ever played.

Contrary to the games out there were you're supposed to kill the bad guys and restore peace and happyness,in Dungeon Keeper you're the bad guy!

Dungeon Keeper is divided into levels, and those levels are the lands you have to conquer in order to unleash the doom.As so,you have to kill each Lord of the Land responsible for mainting the peace on each land.

As a Dungeon master you have to attract minions to combat for you and conquer the lands. To attract creatures, which are specific of each room you buy, you must build rooms and ,to build rooms, you must dig for gold.
Gold is not only necessary to build rooms but also to pay for your creatures work.Without gold your creatures become annoyed and will eventually leave your dungeon.

If you never played Dungeon Keeper,I suggest you do so,as it will give some hours of pure enjoyment!I'm sure you'll feel that being evil never felt so good...

Theme Hospital review

A few years ago, about late 99's, there was a company, the now extinct Bullfrog, that was responsible for some of the most original and entertaining games ever made.

Theme Hospital was and is certainly one of them.

On Theme Hospital you're an hospital manager that has goals to lead a - at start - small hospital into a thriving business. To accomplish that goals, you have to construct different rooms and facilities to cope with the patient's needs.General office's,psychiatry, bathrooms, farmacies are amongst some of the existent rooms.

But,how can an hospital be driven into success if you don't have any employees? You can't!So,you have to employ some nurses and doctors to deal with the patients diseases.

Handyman are also very important in maintening the overall good function of equipment and cleanliness of the hospital.

The success of your hospital depends on how successfully you balance all those elements and the level of patients' satisfaction together.Unhappy clients and poor management go a long way to putting the hospital's reputation into the pit, and by consequence throw you into debt.

One of the best features of Theme Hospital is definately the humour.I find it so funny to see a couple of "head-balloon" patients hanging around and waiting to be "popped" by a strange machine!

If you like oldies and are into hours of fun,Theme Hospital is definately something worth trying!

A mix of originality, good graphics and loads of humour makes Theme Hospital a "jewel" to keep for years to come!
